Sources

• State price lists: government-published uniform retail prices (seed: NC ABC Commission quarterly list, retrieved 2026-10-21). Each price is stored with source, URL and date.
• Distillery announcements: specs, MSRP and release dates, paraphrased and linked.
• TTB COLA Public Registry: label facts (proof, age statement).
• Manual curation: secondary-market ranges, dated and shown as ranges.

What we don't do

We don't scrape sites whose terms prohibit it, copy editorial text or photos, or estimate missing figures. Blank fields are flagged.

Markup Index

Markup = secondary midpoint ÷ MSRP. A bottle is scored only when both figures are sourced within the last 90 days.
